He completed his PhD from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. Dr. Jala’s research interest is in the areas of Inflammation, Gut microbiota and Microbial metabolites in cancer development. His research majorly focuses on understanding ‘how trillions of bacteria that live within us control and drive the health of humans. Identifying and delivering the beneficial bacteria and their products to improve our own immune system to regulate the various disease conditions is the goal of Dr. Jala’s research.
